The courts of Jackson county are open for cases scheduled for hearings and trials. For Covid -19 safety spectators are being limited in the courts at this time. The court offices are available to the public by phone. The Jackson County Clerk's office has protective order forms and dissolution of marriage forms on their website and outside the clerk's office. To save you a trip the courts of Jackson County Courts are happy to answer questions by telephone.
The following cases are handled by the Jackson County Circuit Court:
- All criminal felony cases, including Murder, Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D
- Misdemeanor Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated cases, Probate, as well as Trusts & Guardianships cases.
