Transferring Documents

The auditor’s office is responsible for keeping up-to-date information on the ownership of property. Transfer books are maintained in the auditor’s office, and it is the auditor's office's responsibility to enter the property for taxation. The auditor works closely with many office including the recorderassessortreasurer, and surveyor. Together, they ensure the correct ownership, acreage, legal documents, assessment, legal descriptions, and taxes of all properties in the county.
